Click Below to find out how working-out can help you in all aspects of your life. Hello My Friend!
Happy New Year! I hope 2017 is treating you well! I pray this year is full of love and God's blessings for you and those around you! I wanted to start off this year by discussing the benefits of fitness and how it has help me in all aspects of my life and how it can help you as well! Do not get discourage because everyone’s at the gym and you know they won't finish strong. Remove that negative thought and stay focused and work on YOU! :) Let's get started! In August 2016 after I completed my internship I was so upset with myself because I was extremely focused on completing my internship successfully I did not make time for myself and the gym. In the past I have always worked-out but I never would hold myself accountable when I did not go. During my internship I could see the changes in my attitude and myself as I reflect back on that time in my life. Focusing on your health is important to maintain your sanity and maintain relationships’ with others around you. We all fall short and times but it's important to identify that you fail short. You can then pick back up and give 110% the next time around. At that time, I was determined to get back on track and hold myself accountable for my goals. I started my journey in August and in October I hired a trainer (@Bodiesbyyogi- Instagram Check Him Out!). I knew that if I truly wanted to hold myself accountable I would have to receive some type of encouragement to keep me going. As I worked out I would be in so much pain at times I would want to give up. The pain was temporary but while you're working-out you do not always think of it as temporary. I was not focused on the thought that the pain would be over soon I was focused on "this hurts give up". I never gave up I kept pushing and I accomplished a lot in a few weeks. Week after week going to workout with my trainer it was difficult. He would give me different variations of workouts I never tried before, I would fail sometimes but I always got back up and attempt it again. More than likely I accomplished it eventually which was rewarding. The point I am making here is ...I started to compare my workouts to my life. I began to think when life gets hard many people expect you to give up, they expect you to turn around because the going gets tough. You don't ever have to compromise your dreams or hopes because it gets hard along the way. NOTHING in life comes easy, everything takes work! Sometimes work that we can't complete on our own. God is always there to help us along the way. Ask Him for guidance, discernment and peace during difficult times. Believe it or not I pray before and during my workout because I often need encouragement to get to the gym or even keep once I am at the gym. Just like working out, pain and hardship is only temporary. The process may be difficult but the reward and benefits are much greater than all the pain you may endure along the way! Be encouraged DON'T GIVE UP, not today, tomorrow or ever! Be strong my friend! Working-out has so many great benefits but lately it has all been psychological for me! It is helping get through many things in life and I am positive it will help you as well! Now, head to the gym and hit the treadmill and push hard for the result! :) Thank you for reading! Have a wonderful Day! Be Encouraged! Be sure to Share, Comment, Like -Riss xoxo l
